My Creative Space

as more snow falls and on-line pre-christmas sales decrease I am enjoying my annual winter + baby nesting instincts and i am sewing a baby blanket and crocheting another one...
The first one is not just a blanket... it fits somewhere between stories about heritage and family tree and those about creative recycling... (and an improvised roro-quilting....)
So it is built from old woolly sweters after my Father and a daddy-to-be, on the other side are two daddy-to-be shirts... colorful floral edges are made of my pajamas, leftowvers of English meadow textile from 80's and cut ofs from shortened bed sheets and curtains:-) Hope he'll enjoy it's lack of 'professionalism' as much as I did the process of makeing it...

We have met while still in Stockholm and spent some craft-fair Saturdays together.

November mood and update

shall really be here more often than once a week..I have no idea how or why the early winter and late pregnancy sense of time is like that... shouldn't it be sloooow, not so fast fast?!

My aunt and mum are flying over for Luxembourg / house / belly / pre-christmas visit... this means a lot of logistics (including ride to the Ikea ;-) as we still have only double sets of cutlery and plates ;-)

Autumn Garden News

Busy roro felt evening today... cleaning in my shops, make lots of fluffy woolly listings in fruity and autumnal colors...

that allowed me to notice some interesting regularity in my sales, hmmmm

Shop update

ROROISM finally releases and publishes a series of hand-cut and hat-sewn felt dahlias (or chrysanthemum blossoms for some) in many colors. Great autumn accessory jacket/coat, scarf/hat adornment :-) enjoy!
